A mutually acceptable NDA can be executed before contracts, pricing, renewal schedules, usage exports or negotiation history are exchanged.
Know the boundaries before Calder enters the workflow.
Calder Group is a founder-led New York advisory established in 2019. Technology procurement touches confidential commercial information, supplier relationships, approval rights and internal governance, so those boundaries are made explicit before execution begins.
Before documents are shared
The engagement can begin from a defined set of commercial records. Passwords, banking credentials and unrestricted admin access are not required to begin.
Where the client has an approved repository or transfer process, Calder can work within it rather than forcing a new software implementation.
During the engagement
Calder does not purchase, cancel, downgrade, renew or commit client funds without appropriate approval.
Vendor outreach and negotiation activity remain inside the scope and authority agreed with the client.
Calder does not accept supplier commissions for steering client decisions. Recommendations are made from the client side of the table.
How outcomes are represented
The relevant baseline and measurement method should be documented before implemented economics are represented as an outcome.
Modeled scenarios, observations and opportunities remain separate from achieved results.
Client names, logos, pricing, concessions, savings figures and engagement details are not used publicly without permission.
Calder does not substitute automated software for the people accountable for the engagement. The firm’s team performs the commercial review and negotiation support directly, while client stakeholders retain their own Finance, Procurement, IT/Security and Legal approval responsibilities.
Calder keeps public proof and client-confidential work separate.
Client names, logos, pricing and outcomes are not presented publicly without permission. Prospects can inspect how Calder structures a first mandate and the Renewal Decision Brief used to organize the commercial work.
Discuss the mandate before sensitive material enters the process.
The first conversation can stay at a high level while scope, authority and confidentiality are established.
